ABOUT ME
I've taught at university, college, and high school levels for many years. In other words, I'm an experienced teacher, and I know how to help you succeed. My education includes an AA degree from Long Beach City College, a BA from California State College at Long Beach, and a MA from Northern Illinois University. I also studied at the Intercultural Institute in Oregon.

I enjoy traveling. I've driven across the United States on Interstate 80, Route 66, and other pathways, pausing to learn local history, to enjoy national parks, and to experience regional recipes (yum!). Being part Native American, and visiting Second Mesa, I've collected a few cochinas, learned to make Dreamcatchers, and also facilitate a seasonal Wikiup ceremony. I've been to Canada, Mexico, Spain and Africa, and hope to travel more.
I love music and art of all kinds. I've collected some antiques (but don't call me one). I've danced with the New York City Ballet Company (when younger) and choreographed for El Camino College (to Gershwin ).
